Trisco up/date? 18.11.05 It’s been far too long since this page has been up dated - I’ll make no excuses, though I have been ill with hypochondria… Whilst lying on the beach in Ibiza after a long Dj set at Cream, I heard a track by a Norwegian band - Laid Back called “Whitehorse.” I had been on the beach all day quaffing the local Rose and then heard the aforementioned tune. I loved it immediately and wanted to do a cover version… 2 years later and the track was finished and became Tong’s Essential new tune in September 30th 2005 helped along with a beaut of a mix from the man like Mike Monday. Everything is devoted to studio time at the moment, so expect a lot more from me production wise. I’ve already finished the follow up to Whitehorse which is called “Get Back” an electro clash sound with a great vocal hook from my new production partner Markas Lancaster – who is a wee genius. I’m also following my last single (Southpaw) with Hope recordings under the Trisco name –this should be ready for release in Jan/Feb. Talking of Genius, the final piece of new for you – I have set up my own management company called… Genius Management. There’s a broad representation from the World of music, we currently look after Shawn Astrom (House, U.S.), Sam Sallon (acoustic singer/songwriter U.K), Killahertz (U.K. house) &, Lard Evil (U.K electronica.) I hope to be back soon and more regularly with news and an eventual update of this site so you can download stuff and get more interactive - innit ! Big love Mr T x
Trisco news: Wha 'appen? 26.10.04 It’s been a while since the site has been updated, so there’s plenty of news from the Trisco stable. I’ve been in the studio producing two mixes for the new and very hot label - Level Recordings, www.level-recordings.com (see Discography for track list) and recently returned from a successful two date stint for Cream @ Amnesia along with Shawn Astrom where Level hosted two nights with Jon Carter and the Audio Bully’s-both nights being a real success. Aside from that, “I Know” was released on 30th August this year on Vinyl Addiction —
which will be my last release on the label, so I’m a little sad to be moving on as it’s been a good four years with Justin & co at V/A. There’s also a video for the single which I filmed myself when on tour in Japan which is currently being edited and should be available online when the single is release. There’s also a new film due for release soon called “It’s all gone Pete Tong” starring Paul Kaye of Dennis Pennis fame- Musak has been used in various scenes… good to see it’s STILL doing the bloody rounds! That’s about it for the time being, look out for the new single. I’ll soon have an online forum available with links to other sites etc... until later... be good!
New Trisco release 16.04.04 Next Single, "I Know" is to released at the end of June '04 on V/A recordings, complete with Wonderland Avenue mixes. Featuring Ieka on vocals, it's a real tech house summer track, using tough drums, reverbed out synths and a big vocal melody. In conjuntion with this release, I've remixed Shawn Astrom's "Bringing Out The Love" which is due for release in May. It's a slice of old sounding electro house with a big looped vocal and a made to measure bassline. This will be coming out on Level Recordings.. I've also completed a new track called "Southpaw" which is alot tougher and darker than releases of date..not sure which label this will be coming out on but promo's should be ready for September. When I do get myself out of the studio to sort out the tan, you can catch me on the Terrace @ Amnesia for Cream's night, dates tbc. July & August most likely. Adios and enjoy the summer! Trisco
